Patti Cotton, founder and CEO of Cotton Group, is a leader and strategist whose background includes more than 25 years of multi-cultural leadership experience around the globe in the worlds of diplomatic relations, as well as the corporate and non- profit arenas, and church settings. She brings this wealth of experience to her executive coaching and consulting clients, to the corporate teams she develops, and to the audiences, she engages as a speaker.
Patti’s chief passion is developing better business and community leaders, no matter what the industry or setting, helping them to harness their untapped potential to more effectively reach personal and professional goals. It is for this reason that she is excited about the Townsend Growth Model, reporting that it is much more effective than other existing approaches to leadership development offered today.
Patti’s formal education includes a master’s degree in Organizational Management and Development with a specialty track in Executive Coaching from Fielding Graduate University, a master’s degree in English Literature, and specialty certifications in conflict resolution, immunity to change, and social and emotional intelligence to facilitate growth and potential in individuals, teams, and organizations. She is certified with the International Coach Federation and guest lectures on advanced coaching methodologies, conflict resolution, and critical communications.
She is a contributor to the weekly business column, “Women, Money, and Mindset” for the Southern California News Group publications and has been recognized by Inland Empire magazine as one of the most influential women in the region. She is a two-time recipient of The U.S. President’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Volunteer Service and has been nominated for a third.
Family is of top importance to Patti and her husband Greg, who are devoted to their four children and six grandchildren. They also enjoy sailing, reading good books, listening to all kinds of music, and relaxing with their dog Beau.
