Gina Kim is dedicated to helping her clients connect to their stories, understand how they’ve made sense of themselves and their world, and address anything that might be getting in their way. Gina’s goal is to meet her clients where they are, recognizing that growth involves both the challenges of the present and the impact of the past. She has witnessed this transformative process both in her clients and in her own life.
Gina successfully completed the Townsend Leadership Program and the credentialing process to become a TLP director. She is passionate about seeing her clients experience freedom in their lives and engage their stories so that they may live full and authentic lives.
Gina holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baylor University and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. For two decades, she worked as an optometrist, where she had the privilege of helping patients see the world more clearly. However, through personal growth and understanding her own story, she felt the Lord’s calling to help others find meaning in their pasts and confront current challenges to achieve genuine transformation. This led her to obtain a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine.
Gina has been married to her husband since 1993. Together, they enjoy exploring the outdoors, trying new culinary experiences, traveling, playing with their dog, and spending quality time with their adult kids.
